Matt Sesto is an accomplished healthcare executive with over two decades of experience transforming and leading multi-unit healthcare enterprises. He has successfully led both Fortune 20 companies and PE-backed start-ups.

Highly successful in entrepreneurial roles, Matt has expertise in all facets of healthcare operations, focusing on change management, value creation, leadership development, operations excellence, new business development, and value-based care.

Most recently, Matt transformed an MSO, scaling and integrating new affiliations while preparing the organization for an upcoming recapitalization. Previously, he launched a PE-owned pharmacy start-up with 20 locations, licensed in 50 states. He created a national platform and centralized dispensing hub and oversaw technology consolidation across multiple platforms.

Matt was instrumental in overhauling Sun Capital's pharmacy performance as the interim VP of Health, reorganizing and optimizing their Retail Health Strategy. Before this, he held several ascending positions at Walgreens, where he led the largest organic growth in the Southwest. He also initiated the VBC Managed Medicaid contract with Inland Empire Health Plan and formed partnerships with Banner Health, United Healthcare Community Plan, and CareMore Medicare Advantage Plan, focusing on improving patient outcomes and lowering costs.

Active in the local community, Matt has served on the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Advisory Board, Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation, and the American Diabetes Association. He is passionate about improving patient outcomes across the healthcare continuum while lowering overall costs.
