Lee Gordon
Ms. Lee Gordon brings a vast knowledge of healthcare operations and methodology from years as a senior executive and Chief Operating Officer for healthcare organizations. She has over 35 years of leadership and management experience in a wide range of delivery models that include hospital systems, staff model HMO, managed care, and she has worked extensively over the last 19 years in the federally qualified health center primary care delivery system.
She brings comprehensive knowledge and expertise related to providing quality patient care and the associated complexities of aligning operations to meet this directive. Her experience includes strategic growth and program development for sustainability and expansion; business transformation and technology adoption aligning stakeholder partnerships; fiscal oversight and strategic planning for value-based care initiatives to ensure compliance and risk mitigation by adopting financial standards and industry regulations; and executive leadership and management as a foundation for managing change and team building in an evolving healthcare landscape.
Most recently Ms. Gordon was the executive leader at Great Lakes Bay Health Centers overseeing an organizational strategic initiative that involved successfully adopting a more robust $1.9 million electronic health record system, with reporting capabilities across 34 FQHC sites. During this process she was the principal executive with accountability for infrastructure integrity, technical and clinical integration, data integrity and quality, change management, conflict resolution and communication to align teams and improve work relationships among internal and external stake holders.
Along with her other responsibilities over the years, Ms. Gordon has exhibited both a deep passion and clearly demonstrated success for fostering the growth and development of line/administrative to executive staff members. Her expertise facilitating executive and staff development has helped each mentee set meaningful and achievable goals for their personal and professional growth, where they have learned advanced level communication skills and exhibited enhanced performance. This aspect of her mentoring has been a constant.
